Public Art Crawl-2022
Created by Diane Palma of Digho Arts and Kieran Johnson of the Huntington Arts Council, in partnership with the Huntington Chamber of Commerce, the PUBlic Art Crawl was put into place as a safe way for people to enjoy the public facing art throughout Huntington. The goal of the event is to drive commerce throughout town while also highlighting the rich history of art throughout the streets. There are so many murals throughout town that we all just pass by: why not highlight them? As a Chamber of Commerce, our goal is to support all businesses while attracting tourism to the town and this crawl is a fantastic way to do so. By highlighting artists through the Local Looks program, mural sponsorships, and the Digho Musemarket, we’re creating an environment that celebrates the importance of art to local commerce. In addition, by creating a “Crawl” along the way with retailers and restaurants, we’re driving business to different spots.

On April 30th, 2022, the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Arts & Experiences Committee, as well as, the Huntington Village BID, is hosting the second annual PUBlic Art Crawl from 12 PM-6 PM. This community event will be highlighting local restaurants and art throughout the town.
Participants will receive a guided map and explore over a dozen public murals, as well as receive special promotions at participating restaurants. Live murals will be created and you can enjoy live music and explore a pop-art market featuring local artists at The Agency.
This event is free and is a wonderful way to attract tourism to our town. This event is a great way for families to get together and enjoy a beautiful day. Huntington is a vibrant community of businesses and art and events like this allow our town to be showcased beautifully.
